Cartoon Network is set to launch in Australia this month, with the network’s first episode to air on Wednesday night.
The network is known for its cartoon, animated shows, and its long-running live-action series.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Cartoon Network back to Australia for the first time since our launch in 2013,” said Matt Lucas, chief executive of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC).
“Our partnership with Cartoon Network allows us to launch the new platform at a time when the nation is looking for new TV content and the opportunity to showcase Australian talent and brands.”
The show will be available on a number of devices including tablets, smartphones, laptops, and TVs.
“Cartoon networks are the ideal place for Australian audiences to see some of the best talent in the industry in their native language, and we’re looking forward to showcasing our latest productions on a range of platforms,” said Mr Lucas.
“And with our upcoming live-Action series ‘Cartoons: The Complete Journey’, we are also making Australia’s biggest and most popular shows available on TV on the Cartoon Network app.”
A lot of people are waiting to see how the show will go with the new app.
“The live-Adventure,Adventure Time,Adventure!
lineup is great,” Mr Lucas said.
But we know there’s still a lot of growth in the world of Cartoon Network and we are excited to bring our biggest brand, Adventure Time, to Australia.”
