The Amazon FireTV app lets you connect to your Fire TV box via Wi-Fi or cellular network, and can use its built-in firewall security to block unauthorised network access.
However, you may not be able to use this feature if your network is configured to block network access from within the app itself, or if you have set up a network firewall on your device.
This article explains how to use network firewall access for the Amazon Air TV app, and then how to block access using the Fire TV App.
The Amazon Fire TVs app lets users connect to their Fire TV boxes via Wi, and it also supports cellular network connection.
The app’s built-up firewall controls the network’s security settings.
It’s set up so that only authorised users can access the FireTV network.
If you don’t want to be able access the network, you can block access with the Fire tv app’s network firewall setting.
There are a few ways to use a network firewalls to block a specific network access:For instance, the Amazon network firewall can block any user from accessing the network.
So if you want to stop any user on the network from accessing your FireTV box, you need to do so with the network firewall.
If that’s not possible, you’ll need to disable access to the network altogether.

While the Google device has built-ins that let you control access to your Chromecast from within its own app, the Fire TVs built-In firewall is designed to do all the work.
In the Amazon app, you only need to configure the network to allow your device to connect, and to block your device from accessing other devices.
It will only allow you to connect to the Firetv if your device is connected to the Wi-FI network, or the cellular network.
Here are the steps to configure your Fire TVs network firewall settings.
Open the Amazon AppFire TV appOpen the Fire devices appSelect the Fire device to which you want your Fire to connectOpen the Network Security settings menuIf you’re using a Chromecast with a Fire TV device, open the network security menu (this is also available on the Android version of the app).
You can also open the settings directly on the device.
Here you can configure the security settings for both your Fire device and the Fire television device.
Make sure the Fire mobile app is selected in the Settings app.
You’ll also need to set the security permissions of both your device and Fire TV.
You can do this by using the Security settings screen.
To set the Fire users permission, select Users in the left-hand navigation pane.
Select Allow to connect from this device to this Fire TV .
This will allow your devices access to each other, as well as other devices on the same network.
To disable this option, select Disable from this FireTV device to the right.
Select Users in Settings .
Select Network Security from the left navigation pane, and select Allow to Connect from this Android device to Fire TV to disable this setting.
To configure the Fire content, select the Fire App, then select Content.
Select Network Security and Allow to access the content from this app to allow access to this device.
Now, you’re all set to use your network security features to block unauthorized network access to any of your devices.
